This suitcase is a great option if you are after just good overall luggage. Like the previous suitcase the American tourister suitcase is lightweight, which considering how much we usually pack this is definitely a necessity, has an ABS shell for durability and single 360 spinner wheels for smooth, easy movement. Internally this suitcase has a mesh divider and zipper pockets, this is a great feature because anything that aids in organising luggage is such a bonus. It makes it so much easier when you’re trying to put together an outfit or trying to find your toiletries. This suitcase also comes with compression straps to push luggage down and the suitcase expands for extra space, again this also being a necessity because the more room the better. This suitcase also comes in different sizes and has a 10 year warranty.

The price of this suitcase is obviously quite expensive however you do get a lot of features. This suitcase has a 10 year warranty and the fact that it is double sided allows you to have more room as well as making it easier for you to organise luggage. Samsonite Hardside Suitcase
This suitcase is Samsonite and since this is such a well known brand obviously we are expecting some pretty impressive features. This suitcase uses polypropylene material so it is very lightweight but durable meaning if it gets thrown around, which is likely will, it won’t get damaged easily. Another thing to note is that the samsonite suitcase also uses 360 multidirectional wheels so that it is easy to move around without getting stuck on the ground There is also anti theft zips and an Integrated 3 digit TSA combination lock on the samsonite suitcase which is something that is definitely needed for protection while travelling and regardless if this suitcase had protection or not, locks on suitcases is definitely something we would recommend buying. When opened this suitcase uses compression straps and expands for extra space while travelling and also comes in different colours and sizes.

This suitcase is again expensive but in our opinion worth the price. It is a samsonite and they are usually on the pricier side. The reason for the cost however is due to the materials used. It is a very sturdy suitcase and the features this suitcase comes with such as the anti theft zip and integrated combination look does make it worth the price point.

Antler is another really well know brand we would expect a lot from given their reputation. This suitcase is polycarbonate so like the other suitcases it is light, allowing you to pack more, and strong, so it is not easily damaged. The antler suitcase also uses a TSA combination lock for extra protection which is such a great bonus just because a built in locking system is a lot easier to use then buying one seperate. One feature this suitcase has which is really impressive is that it uses colour-fast meaning that if it scratches the colour will still remain the same as the shell so it won’t look damaged, which honestly would be handy if all suitcases had this so that they would be more long lasting. Another feature this suitcase comes with is a dust bag which is a really great addition because this will ensure your suitcase stays clean and looks new when you store it between trips. Internally the antler suitcase has compression straps to keep your luggage compressed, internal zipper compartments so all your belongings stay organised, is double sided giving you even more space inside your suitcase and has an expanding zipper for extra space. July Checked Light Suitcase
The next suitcase we picked out is the July checked light suitcase. Something we noticed about the brand July is that they are very innovative with the uniqueness of there brand. A lot of the features July have made you will only find in July luggage. First thing to note is that this suitcase is made of a polycarbonate shell which we know means that this suitcase will be light, strong and that this material minimises damage. Another feature that this suitcase has is 360 double spinner wheels so you will be able to wheel your suitcase around easily. The July checked light also has zip closures with integrated TSA lock which as you know is a feature we love for safety while you travel. Honestly the July suitcases are probably some of the most impressive but this suitcase is quite small in size and is expensive in comparison to that however unlike the other brands they do have some of the most unique features like the fact that it has stain proof lining, is water resistant and unique anti theft technology. One thing that we do feel is a con is that internally while it is double sided there are no compression straps and it is not expandable.

We had to put in another July Suitcase just because the features were so good. This suitcase is the July checked luggage expandable, this one being larger than the July checked light and also having a lot more features. The July checked expandable is also made with a polycarbonate shell so that it is extra light and minimises damage when the suitcase gets bumped. This suitcase also has aluminium bumpers the purpose of this is to further protect the suitcase if there are any hard drops. The checked luggage expandable also uses 360 wheels so that you are able to wheel around your suitcase really easily. Again this suitcase uses integrated TSA locks for extra safety which you know we love especially nowadays because there seems to be a lot more theft. Internally though is where we start to see these unique features so like the July checked light the checked luggage expandable is also water-resistant and has stain-proof nylon lining to protect your luggage which is ideal because everyone hates dirty luggage. When opened though this suitcase uses a heavy duty Y-strap to compress the luggage giving you more room for extra stuff and as the name suggests it obviously expands for extra space. One of the main features that we feel is such a clever addition and sets this suitcase apart from the rest is that this suitcase has a hidden laundry bag that is odour proof and adds extra compression so not only does it give you extra room, it also separates your dirty clothes from your clean. Like the July checked light this suitcase too comes in different colours and has a lifetime warranty.

This suitcase is one of the most expensive choices but is easily the most impressive. It is the lightest considering the size, has a lifetime warranty, has anti stain technology and In general is just a sturdy suitcase. The only downside is the price but depending how much you want to spend this suitcase could be well worth it for you.

Obviously the more you spend the better the technology and the features but sometimes you don’t need to spend to much to get good quality. If you were just after a standard suitcase the Amazon Basics Hard Shell suitcase would be a really good option for you, it is a great price, even though it doesn’t have all the features of the other suitcases it is still definitely a solid choice. Brands like Samsonite and Antler are always going to be a great option. They are well known brands and because of this you know what you are paying for. Most features of all the suitcases mentioned are very similar this being the material used and the integrated locks and relatively similar prices the only difference being that the July suitcases do have more unique features but they can be replaced by, for example, buying odour free laundry bags online, or buying locks online. When it comes down to it, it really depends on what features matter to you and how much you are comfortable spending.
